Simperoné
More information
Simperoné was born during the post-pandemic easing period, when, after the lockdown and the reflection that came with it, three childhood friends —Dani Guix, Arturo Guillén, and Marc Tàpies— decided it was the perfect time to create their long-dreamed rock band.

Then came the hours of writing and rehearsing. After a brainstorming session, they agreed that the right name to define their band would be Simperoné, in honor of the fibula lost by their vocalist and guitarist, Arturo Guillén, after surgery in 2019.
With the name decided, they gathered the six songs they had composed and set out to record them for the EP Regular Old Living, in collaboration with Moontower Studios.
Five years after its beginnings, Simperoné has gone through a few changes and is now formed by drummer Carles Pitarch, guitarist Sergi Puché, bassist Gerard Vidal, and vocalist and guitarist Arturo Guillén. Still, the soul of the band remains the same.
With a classic aesthetic, ironic lyrics, and a wild live performance, Simperoné is determined to be heard by those who still believe in rock and roll.
