La Civit is a self-managed music project founded in 2022 by Laura Civit, lead vocalist, lyricist, and songwriter. She is joined by La Freixe, who provides backing vocals and harmonies, and Javi Alpe, producer and beatmaker, also in charge of DJing during live shows. Together, they shape the essence of the project, accompanied by Sookie as the dancer.
The project was born from the rap scene, but is now experimenting with new sounds such as techno, blending electronic rhythms with the power of raw and conscious rap lyrics.
Their songs explore social and universal themes such as love and friendship, always from an honest and reflective perspective on the world around us.
Although La Civit is still an emerging and self-managed group, they have grown step by step with conviction and authenticity. They represent a new generation of conscious voices, combining awareness, rhythm, and energy to transform their surroundings through music.
