Madame Rojo
Madame Rojo is a thrilling and eclectic band originating from the Costa Brava. Led by the singer and writer Mar Rojo, the group has forged its identity through a unique fusion of musical styles from rap, reggae and rumba to country and rock. This diverse approach is reflected in each of their songs, which explore social themes, love, and life in general.
The band emerged strongly by winning an emerging bands contest in Palamós, marking the beginning of their rise in the local music scene. A significant milestone was when Madame Rojo had the honor of sharing the stage as the opening act for the renowned band Zoo at the Porta Ferrada festival.
Over time, Madame Rojo's musical evolution led to a change in their format. Formerly known as Marmara, they transitioned from a more acoustic focus, to incorporating drums into their sound. This significant change was also reflected in the band's new name, Madame Rojo, capturing the renewed and vibrant essence of the group.
Madame Rojo's music is an invitation to an emotional journey, where Mar Rojo's captivating voice intertwines with various rhythms and genres, creating a unique experience for their followers. With a solid foundation in the Costa Brava and an eclectic musical vision, Madame Rojo continues to explore new boundaries, thrilling their audience with each performance.
